Not only is the first class nuts assortment great for its own sake, but for me it’s also a pleasurable hit of nostalgia. I still recall decades ago, early in my professional career, the thrill of flying first class on American Airlines for the first time. This was something that one who grew up very poor and not so long prior could not imagine being able to fly anywhere at all could hardly comprehend. The warmed, first class nuts are an integral part of that memory. Today, as a tribute to “how far we’ve come“, we often take those nuts on our own plane, and serve them at all social events at our home. Thank you for keeping these available.
